Gate Valve

China Gate valve

Gate Valve controls the flow of liquids and gases through pipes and tubes. It includes types of gate valve, air vent valve, solenoid valve, pressure reducing valve and others. Here we are going to talk about the gate valve. Gate valves are employed in the pipeline systems. Workers hardly think twice of them. But a fault gate valve in a plane, a machine, or a chemical plant could be no good. Valves must be precision-made and trouble-free.

China Gate valve are not recommended for throttling service, especially when the working pressure is already too high. Knife Gate valves should preferably not be opened or closed against pressure, especially when the working pressure is too high. Gate valves are part of the most commonly used shut-off valves in the industry. All gate valves are available with optional PTFE seat rings. The flange gasket bolts for the gate valves should be retightened during installation as the bolts may have loosened due to storage and shipping. Gate valves serve as effectual stop valves with flow in either direction.

The gate valve is a valve which lifts the disc to permit or prevent the flow of liquids. Threaded to the bonnet and connected to an actuator, a stem moves up and down to regulate flow inside the valve. Rising stems are fixed to the gate and rise and lower together as the valve is operated, providing a visual indication of valve position. Non-rising stem valves are attached to, and rotate with the actuator, and are threaded into the gate.

Gate valves from TJL Industry include cast iron gate valve, knife gate valve, forged gate valve, stainless steel gate valve, gost gate valve and carbon steel gate valve. What's more, we sell them to the customer worldwide, including from Europe, America, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Our products can be used for water supply and drainage, oil, gas, chemical industry and so on.

The advantages of a gate valve:

1. Easy and quick to open and close, fluid resistance at low level.

2. Structure simple, allows a smooth flow.

3. Small size and light weight.

4. Good performance.

The disadvantages of a gate valve:

1. Limited pressure and temperature.

2. Poor seal.

3. Weight loss corrosion, stress corrosion and wear.

There is considerable room for expansion in the gate valve industry at the present. The main factors of the expansion include the growing energy demand, sustained increase in global population and urbanization in developing countries, the process of industrialization after the financial crisis. This trend has been growing steadily for years. Currently, the world's major economies have already entered the economic recovery cycle. The gate valve industry was showing a steady upward growth therewith.
