China Globe Valve Introduction

China Globe Valve evolved from a plug valve. It has the same 90° rotation and has the same rotating parts that are often in contact with the seal seat. The plunger is spherical and has a circular through hole or passage through its axis. The ratio of spheres to channel openings should be such that when the ball is rotated 90°, all the spheres at the entrance and exit should be spherical, thus cutting off the flow.

China Globe Valve can be closed tightly with only 90° rotation and a small turning force. The fully parallel valve body cavity provides the medium with a very low resistance, straight flow path. Even with shrinkage, the pressure drop created by the medium passing through the valve is still small. Therefore, from an economic point of view, most ball valves today have adopted necking. However, the most common exception is the valve required on the pipeline cleaned with the "Pig."

It is generally considered that China Globe Valve is most suitable for opening and closing directly, but recent developments have designed China Globe Valve to make it useful for throttling and controlling traffic.
