The BYV Series Butterfly Valve incorporates the most advanced thermoplastic design and construction for butterfly valves in the industry recently, according to the manufacturer. Available in multiple thermoplastic materials from sizes 2" to 12"/DN50–300, the BYV Series valve has a robust one-piece body construction while lighter weight than metal valves of equal size. The hand lever features a 72-spline interlock mechanism allowing for 19 stopping positions at every 5 degrees. The engineered hand lever material incorporates a UV inhibitor for enhanced performance in outdoor applications. The BYV Butterfly valve also features reinforced lugholes and can be ordered with over molded SS316 lugs for dead-end service or isolation needs. The BYV Series Butterfly Valve is available in ANSI150 and DIN/EN PN10 flange standard, with a pressure rating of 150 PSI/ 0 Bar at 70 F non-shock across all sizes and materials. Typical applications or installations include but not limited to are waste water and water treatment, chemical industry, landfills/environmental infrastructure, and water/theme parks.
