The valve body, sometimes referred to as the housing, is the primary boundary of the pressure valve. He acts as the main component of the valve assembly because it is the frame that holds all the components together.
The first pressure boundary of the valve body resists the fluid pressure load from the connecting pipe. It accepts inlet and outlet piping through threads, bolts or welded joints.
The end of the valve body is designed to connect the valve to the pipe or the device nozzle by different types of end connections (such as butt or socket welding, threaded or flanged).
The valve body is cast or forged in a variety of forms, and each part has a specific function and is constructed in a material suitable for the function.
