These are also based on somersetting systems, but are supplied to the user in two parts (resin and curing agent) of the liquid or paste and can then be mixed at the application site and passed through a brush, roller, neutralizer, t knife or mold. Because these systems can use a variety of epoxy resins and curing agents, it is important to withstand the wide temperature range, chemical corrosion and entertainment of solid wear. The ability to combine various chemicals and functional enhancements to improve resistance to penetration or abrasion allows these products to be considered more aggressive than FBE coatings.
