Valve is a mechanical device that controls the flow or pressure in a system or process. They are the basic components of piping systems for the transport of liquids, gases, vapors, slurring, and the like.

Provide different types of valves: doors, ball valves, plugs, ball valves, butterfly valves, check valves, diaphragm, clamp, pressure relief valve, control valve. These types are available in a variety of models, each with different features and functions. Some valves are automatic, while others are manual or with actuators or pneumatic or hydraulic operation.

FUNCTIONS FROM VALVES ARE:

·         Stopping and starting flow

·         Reduce or increase a flow

·         Controlling the direction of flow

·         Regulating a flow or process pressure

·         Relieve a pipe system of a certain pressure

There are many valve designs, types and models, with a wide range of industrial applications. All of which fulfill one or more of the functions identified above. Valves are expensive items, it is important to specify the correct valve for the function and must be constructed of the correct material for the process liquid.

Regardless of the type, all valves have the following basic components: body, bonnet, trim (internal components), actuators, and packing. The basic components of the valve are shown on the right.
